All pricing on our website is for our Standard License level which covers the needs of most producers including all of the folllowing applications:
Local market broadcast or cablecast commercials, promos, programs, or announcements for airing in North America or any single country worldwide
(network broadcast usage - national or international - requires a license upgrade)
Non-broadcast video/film/multimedia or web-based productions
Computer-generated displays, games or interactive programs
Distribution (CD, CD-ROM, DVD, or similiar) limited to 3,000 units per production
Audio or video on websites, podcasts, YouTube or similar
Music-on-hold limited to 10 locations per production (includes performance rights)

Q: What is an Annual Blanket License?
A: Also referred to as a "Lease," an annual blanket license equips you with a music library (size varies with plan selected) and grants you a "blanket" right to synchronize music as often as you like in an unlimited number of productions created during your license term (1-3 years).
By contrast, a "Per Usage" license (aka: "neeedle-drop") grants usage rights for one music selection used in one production. A form must be completed and a fee paid each time you synchronize a music track.

Q: What are the benefits of an Annual License?

Q: If I don't renew, what happens to productions I've created?
A: "In Perpetuity": Any productions completed during your annual license term are covered "in perpetuity" (for the life of) that production even if you do not renew your music library license - provided that such productions are completed "in-the-can" and not later revised, updated, or altered.
A: Exception 1 - Continued theme usage: In cases where a music selection is used as the theme to an ongoing program (broadcast or non-broadcast) which is released in editions (daily, weekly, monthly, periodically) and thus becomes part of new productions aired or distributed, such continued usage would need to be under license (annual or per-usage license).
A: Exception 2 - Changes to body of production: If the body of a previously created production is modified in order to create another version or edition (something other than a "tag" or "intro" change), music usage in such a revision would also need to be under license (annual or per-usage license).

Q: Does your "Annual Blanket License" include performance rights?
A: No, our standard license is for synchronization only. You must obtain performance rights separately from us, or make sure that a license is in place from a performance rights organization (USA: ASCAP, BMI, and/or SESAC). Most radio, TV, and cable stations have such a license in place, but a small percentage of broadcasters do not. You may optionally purchase from us a separate "direct performance license" for usage of our music on such stations or channels.
